Prof., Dr. Tatjana Volkova is a professor of strategic management, innovation management, and strategic ICT governance and a leading researcher at the BA School of Business and Finance in Riga, Latvia. She has extensive practical experience in management and consultancy, including working as Manager of Rotterdam Consult, Ltd, as an HR recruiting professional at Amrop International, and as a Training Officer at the WOCCU (USA) office in Riga. Ltd. Dr Volkova has been a visiting lecturer at several European and Central Asian business schools. She keeps close contact with business practices through Executive training in Latvia, Kazakhstan, South Africa, and Slovenia, as well as supervision of Doctoral Dissertations and Master Thesis.
Prof. Volkova’s research findings have been published in peer-reviewed books and journals nationally and internationally and presented at numerous international conferences. Prof. Volkova is also a member of the Editorial Committee of Scientific Journals (e.g., Editor and Reviewer of the Journal of Business Management, SBS Journal of Applied Business Research and Banks and Banks System Journal) and has participated in numerous international research and international networking projects.
Prof. Volkova is a Board member of the Professors Association (Latvia), a Member of the Higher Education Council (Latvia), Chair of the Steering Committee of the Institutional Development program (IEP), Chair of the Studies Quality Commission (Latvia), as well Member of Swiss Accreditation Council and former Board member of Baltic Management Development Association (BMDA), Lithuania. She has extensive international experience in evaluating and accreditation study programs and higher education institutions (HEIs) in more than 30 countries in Europe, Asia, Africa, Latin America, and the Middle East.
