Inese Pelša is the founder and chair of the Latvian Sustainable Procurement Association. She has extensive experience in green public procurement from her work at the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Regional Development. Inese Pelša leads training sessions on green public procurement and sustainable procurement for specialists and businesses. She has also served as a mentor at the Innovation Center of the University of Latvia, where she mentors students in programs such as "Scientific Communication" and "Sustainability = Opportunity". Inese has authored 11 scientific publications and has participated in international scientific conferences in 9 countries. She is a researcher at the University of Latvia and a doctoral candidate. Inese is also a member of the Latvian Young Scientists Association.
